United Way
It's a fundraising face-off! 🥊 Starting next week our elementary school is teaming up with Dacusville Middle School in a friendly battle to see who can raise the most for United Way! 💸💙 Every dollar counts towards making a big difference in our community and helping students to participate in Camp IRock. Who will take home the title and which principal will get slimed? Let the competition begin! 💪 #UnitedWayChallenge #BattleForGood #GivingBackTogether

Please have your child wear red, white, and blue on Monday, November 11, to honor our Veterans! It's a small way to show our respect and gratitude for the brave men and women who have served our country.

Ms. Erin Schultz is in her 2nd year of teaching and both years have been here at DES! She is a natural-born teacher. To see her in action you would never know that she has only been teaching for just over a year. She has a great rapport with her students. Although she is still in LETRS training(Vol. 2) and working with a new ELA curriculum in year 2 of her career she demonstrates extreme proficiency in phonics instruction and routines. Erin has also stepped up to take on leadership roles like serving on our Guiding Coalition and organizing our Veterans Day program. Being a new teacher in today's world of education is more challenging than ever but she makes it look so easy. We are so glad that Erin chose to be a Dolphin and we hope she continues to be a dolphin for many, many years.
