Our Gettys Band has been selected as a 2024-2025 Outstanding Performance Reward recipient!
This is the highest award coming from the SC Band Directors Association to recognize the best band programs in our state! We earned this through the results from our state assessment, Region and All-State Band results and Solo and Ensemble. You can check out our award which is currently in the front office to share the good news with the whole school.
To put it into perspective, out of the over 1000 middle schools in the state, typically only 30-40 receive this award each year! If you see a band student and/or director, please congratulate them on their hard work for this major accomplishment.
