Mrs. Trish Garner, lovingly referred to by all at DES as "Nurse Trish," was named 2021 - 2022 Support Employee of the Year for DES. Nurse Trish is an amazing nurse who cares so much for this community. She is a wonderful nurse who is always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that our students and staff are taken care of each day. DES Principal, Travis Chapman, explained, "Covid-19 brought many added responsibilities to school nurses; however, Mrs. Garner handled it all with a smile and a positive attitude. We are blessed to have her on our team!"
